#ThrowbackThursday: The Oldest Profession Gets Professional — The Industry Recognizes One of Its Own

In 2014, somebody at a struggling alternative weekly print newspaper decided to give me a shot at the Carrie Bradshaw experience, and for nearly four years after my cute little face was on every street corner in San Francisco inside a little red plastic box full of newspapers with advertisements for cannabis and happy endings on their back pages. This was my very first column. I had no idea what I was doing, but I was overjoyed to be doing it.
I had recently been to my very first adult industry awards show in Los Angeles, and I already had Hollywood stars in my eyes, but I’d have to pay my dues in they Bay for a little while longer, and break a few hearts before I could realize them.
